- In fact - one of the first things you will learn will be reduce your nasal congestion and blockage (including Post Nasal Drip) - so that you can breathe throuugh your nose only. This applies even if you have been a mouth breather for decades. In the Workshops that this book is based on - you learn on the first night how to use ONLY your breathing to make your nostrils clear and stay open. Every single attendee successfully learns and is able to do this.
- You will be surprised just how easily and quickly children can apply this method and have their asthma symptoms vanish like a bad dream. You still keep the medications consistent - and reduce them as discussed with your doctor. Once you recognize the pattern of breathing that precedes you child's asthma - you will take simple, effective steps to avoid the pattern you have been used to. (Eg. blocked nose, runny nose, cough, asthma, worse asthma, drugs, hospital, steroids, recovery, home again)
- You will learn how to avoid coughing and wheezing at night when you or your child is in bed. You will learn a very specific way to cough that reduces the likelihood of the cough getting worse. This same process is proven to reduce the symptoms of sleep apnea/apnoea - and give better quality sleep.

All fears are basically death oriented. Whatsoever its structure, form, whatsoever its shape, name, all the fear is connected with death. When you move significant, you will watch that you are afraid of death.
In the incident that some individual came to Buddha and said, "I am fearful about death, I have found it out," Buddha may say, "Then go at the pyre fire, go to the cemetery, and meditate over an internment fire."
People are dying on consistently – they will be burned. Just stay there at the MARGHAT – cemetery – and meditate on the seething blaze. The moment that their relatives have gone, you stay there.
Only meditate with the flame, at the burning of the dead body. The moment that everything is becoming smoke, you just look at it significantly. Don't think; just meditate with it for three months?
"When it turns into a confirmation to you that death can't be escaped, when it becomes certainty beyond any doubt that death is the life nature, that death is implied in life, that death is situated to be, that there is no possibility to get to and you are in it, at the moment it is alongside you."
In the wake of meditating death, in the wake of seeing constantly, night and day, dead bodies being burned, split up into searing trash – just a smoke remains and after that too vanishes – in the wake of ruminating for months together, a sureness will develop: the certainty that death is unavoidable.

When you can know dreamless sleep and could be conscious in it, then there will be no fear of death. No one has ever died, no one can die– that is the only impossibility.
The incoming breath and the outgoing breaths are the same as vehicles, however the incoming breath is filled with prana and the outgoing breath is empty. You have taken in the prana and the breath has gotten empty.
The reverse happens when you are nearing death. The incoming breath comes without prana, empty, because your body can't suck prana from the existence.

Zen teachings originated many thousands of years ago with the man known as the Buddha although he claimed such knowledge went back tens of thousands of years before his time. It has since spread around the world. Since Zen isn't a religion—there is no deity worship—it is fully compatible with major religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and others. The Buddha resides as comfortably in the sacrament as in the atheist.
Zen practice consists of stilling the mind by a method known as right thinking. One doesn't have to be sitting in a meditation hall to practice Zen. A person can practice stilling the mind while at work or while at play. Often times, I find stories arise as a result of my practice. While these stories may not be related to Zen in the traditional Western sense of the word they seem oddly apt when taken for what they are: A glimpse inside the mind of a man who has spent a goodly part of his adult life deep in meditation.
It has taken a long time to get these stories right though as the years go by the impact they have on me seems to change along with my perspective of the world and my place in it. Introduction
Our lives are busy. Sometimes we want to set aside time to reflect upon a different set of values, which bring us closer to our Christian vocation. It is possible, but often difficult, to enter into full-time meditation during our regular work hours. Often we find ourselves distracted and carried away by unnecessary cares and worries. Jesus is always calling us to rest in him. We can be confident that where he is, is our peace and joy. This set of reflections is a way to spend a portion of our day, before things get busy, with the One who “first loved us.” He cannot be outdone in generosity. May the Holy Spirit, who guides us to “worship in Spirit and in truth,” guide us and keep us daily in Jesus presence.
To the God of Faith Immortal
My God, I am here before You; You who are my very life, my existence, my everything. I wish to speak to You directly in my prayer. I wish to lift up my soul to You; my Soul that You know well, even from my Mother's Womb. (Ps. 139:10) My being before You, in the light of Your face, means all to me; it is the only real and lasting meaning of my existence. When I place myself before the things in the world they change and I change, but You are the unchanging source of my life, my breath, my future.(Rom. 11:29) This gives me lasting joy. Your friendship surrounds me and supports my many desires to live up to the potential You have placed in me. Yes, the potential of not living for passing things that fail to give eternal joy, like You. This, too, is a mystery to me, but I accept it as being just that, a mystery of Your love for me and others. I know I have to change to become like You. Your grace alive in my heart makes me realize this every moment of my life and I desire to follow You. I am not like the child You desire me to be, but I want to be. (Matt. 18:3) I still want to live my life in the world, but not to be of the world, but living upto the desires of Your Holy Spirit for me. I know the consequences in standing before You, opening my soul to You. You, who can neither deceive nor be deceived. I Love You.
